To achieve this goal, we need to understand your eating habits and preferences so that we can provide you with personalised services. At the same time, at Try.Eat!, protecting our users' privacy is our core foundation. Your privacy and the security of your personal data are matters we take very seriously. No one should sacrifice personal privacy for any reason, because it is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter this "Policy") explains in detail below how and why we collect, store, share and use your personal data. This Policy applies to all Try.Eat! services and any related services (hereinafter the "Try.Eat! Services"). For the definitions in the terms governing your use of the Try.Eat! Services, please refer to our Terms of Use and Conditions (hereinafter the "Terms of Use and Conditions"). We may from time to time develop new services or offer other services. If the launch of such new or other services results in any change to the way we collect or process personal data, we will provide you with further information and other terms and policies. Unless otherwise stated when we launch such new or other services, such services will also be subject to the provisions of this Policy. This Policy is intended to:

1. Ensure that you understand what personal data we collect and our reasons for collecting and using it; 2. Explain how we use the personal data you share with us so that you can enjoy the best-quality Try.Eat! Services experience. 3. Explain your rights and choices regarding our collection and processing of your personal information, and how we will protect your privacy.

2. How Do We Collect Your Personal Data?

Personal data means data that can be used to identify or contact an individual person. When you use the services of Try.Eat! or of Try.Eat! affiliated companies, you may be asked to provide personal data. Try.Eat! and its affiliated companies may share this personal data with one another, and will process the data in accordance with the provisions and standards of this Privacy Policy. Try.Eat! and its affiliated companies may also combine personal data with other data in order to provide and improve products, services, content and advertising. You are not necessarily required to provide the personal data we request, but if you choose not to, we will not be able to provide you with our products or services. When you begin using the Try.Eat! Services, we collect your personal data in the following ways:

1. When you register for the Try.Eat! Services - We collect certain personal data such as your email address, date of birth, gender and country/region so that you can use the Try.Eat! Services. 2. When you use the Try.Eat! Services - We collect personal data about your use of the Try.Eat! Services, such as the food items you have browsed and your other usage habits. 3. Personal data collected to enable us to provide you with other, better features - You may at times also provide us with other personal data or grant us permission to collect other personal data (for example, in order to obtain more features). We will not collect photos, precise mobile device location, voice data or contacts from your device without your prior consent. You can change your mind at any time and revoke the settings. 4. From third parties - We receive personal data about you and your activities from third parties (including advertisers and partners that work with us) in order to provide you with the Try.Eat! Services. We will use this personal data only when you have consented to the sharing of data by the third party or by Try.Eat!, or when we have a legitimate interest in using the personal data to provide you with the Try.Eat! Services.

3. What Personal Data Do We Collect from You?

The following is the personal data we collect from you: Account registration data - This is personal data provided by you or collected by us so that you can register for and use the Try.Eat! Services. It includes your email address, social media account, date of birth, gender, postal code and country/region. We will ask you to provide certain necessary personal data in order to create your account. You may also choose to provide us with some other personal data to make your account more personalised. The personal data we collect will depend on the type of Try.Eat! service plan you register for and on whether you use a third-party service (as defined in the Terms of Use and Conditions, for example Facebook) to register for and use the Try.Eat! Services. If you use a third-party service to create an account, we will receive personal data through the third-party service, provided that you consent to the third-party service sharing your personal data with us. Service usage data - This is personal data collected from you when you use the Try.Eat! Services, which may include:

a. Information about your interactions with the Try.Eat! Services; b. User content that you post on Try.Eat!, including your contact details with Try.Eat! customer service representatives. c. Technical data, which may include URL information, cookie data, your IP address, the type of device you use to access or connect to the Try.Eat! Services, unique device identifiers, device attributes, network connection type (such as WiFi, 3G, LTE, Bluetooth) and provider, network and device performance, browser type, language, information enabled by digital rights management, operating system, and the Try.Eat! app version.

Voluntary mobile data - In addition to the mobile data collected in order to provide you with the Try.Eat! Services (as described above), you may also choose to consent to our collecting other personal data from your mobile device, so that we can provide you with features that enhance your Try.Eat! Services experience. Payment data - If you participate in a Brand Campaign (as defined in the Terms of Use and Conditions) through Try.Eat!, we may collect your personal payment data in order to pay out the revenue share you have earned. The exact personal data collected may vary depending on your payment method, but will include the following information: name; bank account name; bank account number; postal code and mobile phone number.

4. How Do We Use Your Personal Data?

When you use or interact with the Try.Eat! Services, we use various technologies to process the personal data we collect about you for a variety of reasons. We have set out below the reasons why we process your personal data:

1. To provide, personalise and improve your experience of the Try.Eat! Services and of other services and products offered by Try.Eat!, for example by providing customised, personalised or localised content, recommendations, features and advertising (including third-party products and services) within or outside the Try.Eat! Services; 2. To understand how you access and use the Try.Eat! Services, in order to ensure the technical functionality of the Try.Eat! Services, develop new products and services, and analyse your use of the Try.Eat! Services, including your interactions with the applications, advertisements, products and services published, linked or made available by the Try.Eat! Services; 3. To communicate with you for purposes related to the Try.Eat! Services; 4. To process your payments, and to prevent or detect fraud, including fraudulent payments and fraudulent use of the Try.Eat! Services.

5. Information We May Share

We undertake never to sell personal data, and never to share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We will provide certain personal data to third parties, with our authorisation, only for the purpose of providing or improving products and services. In such cases, we will require the third parties to process the data in accordance with the relevant laws and the standards set out in their cooperation agreements with Try.Eat., and all data must be pseudonymised and encrypted before being shared, and may be used only for the purpose of providing or improving products and services. We work with technology service providers that provide technical infrastructure, in particular providers that host, store, manage and maintain the Try.Eat! app, its content and the data we process, so that the Try.Eat! Services can operate smoothly. We work with technology service providers to help us communicate with you as described in Section 4 of this Policy. We use marketing and advertising partners to show you more tailored content, or to understand how you use the Try.Eat! Services, so that we can provide you with better services. We may also share personal data with certain marketing and advertising partners in order to send you Try.Eat! promotional messages. If you access the Try.Eat! Services through an offer you received from a third party or a purchase you made from a third party, we will also share with that third party information about your use of the Try.Eat! Services, such as whether you have used the offer, activated your Try.Eat! membership account or actively used the Try.Eat! Services, and to what extent. We may also share your personal data with our partners in a pseudonymised format to help them understand their performance.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We will retain your personal data only when we need to in order to provide you with the Try.Eat! Services, and for legitimate and necessary business purposes, such as maintaining the performance of the Try.Eat! Services, making data-driven business decisions relating to new features and products, complying with our legal obligations and resolving disputes. For as long as you are a user of the Try.Eat! Services, we will continue to retain some of your personal data. For example, we will retain your usage and redemption records and account information. If you so request, we will delete the data or anonymise it so that others cannot identify you from it, unless the law permits or requires us to maintain certain personal data, including in the following circumstances:

1. If there are unresolved matters relating to your account, such as an outstanding balance owing on the account or an unresolved claim or dispute, we will retain the necessary personal data until the matter is resolved; 2. If we need to retain personal data in order to fulfil our legal, tax, audit and accounting obligations, we will retain the necessary personal data for the period required by applicable law; and/or 3. In response to our legitimate business interests, such as preventing fraud or maintaining user safety.

7. Keeping Personal Data Secure

We undertake to protect the security of users' personal data. We will take appropriate technical and organisational measures to help protect the security of your personal data; however, please note that no system is one hundred percent secure. We have implemented policies such as pseudonymisation, encryption, access rights and retention policies to prevent unauthorised access or the retention of unnecessary personal data in our systems. Your password protects your user account, so we strongly recommend that you use a unique and strong account password.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. After we make material changes to this Policy, we will provide you with important notice as appropriate in the circumstances, including by displaying a prominent notice within the Try.Eat! Services or by sending you an email. We will notify you in advance. Please therefore read any such notice carefully.
